FIRST developed two organizational change tools: the Fire Service Organizational Culture of Safety survey (FOCUS) and the SAVER Systems level checklist for violence against EMS responders. It is home to the FIRE Fellowship, an immersive summer program for public health masters students – the only program of its kind in the country.
